Janet was born and raised in Augusta, Missouri. Her family owned what was known as The Uptown Store, a name that has popped up often in previous interviews. Janet is the organist at Ebenezer UCC, Augusta, and was a nurse for many years.  She married another Augustan, Don Fuhr, who once served as the chairman of the town board. This event is free and open to the public. Please come and ask some questions of your own.

Also, several previous interviews have been uploaded to YouTube. Go to YouTube, enter Friends of Historic Augusta, and pick one. Additional interviews will be added eventually.
